The Ampelmännchen, or little traffic light man, is a pedestrian traffic light symbol created in Berlin that came to life in 1961. These little green and red men soon became a beloved part of East German culture. Cartoon figures of the red Ampelmann were used to warn of danger and the green Ampelmann was a trusted advisor. The Grün Ampelmann Micro and Rot Ampelmann Micro can warn of danger or give advise on geocaches you visit!
